SULZER H. CEGIELSKI 6AL20/24 DIESEL ENGINE
All Cylinder heads removed and refurbished at REMONTOWA YARD works in Hull. Pressure test to 7 Bar. All pistons and rods removed, cleaned and inspected, no faults were found evident. Cylinder liners deglazed and calibrated in-situ. All main bearings were noted at standard size and renewed. All main journals hand polished. Thrust bearings also noted as standard and renewed. Crankshaft crank pins polished and pistons refitted with new piston rings and big end bearings. Fresh water pump refurbished with new bearings and seals. Oil sump cleaned out and oil system flushed with clean oil. Ship staff cleaned oil filters. Engine filled with fresh oil and water and started. Bearing checks carried out at 5 minute and 15 minute intervals all found normal Engine run on load to customers satisfaction.
